Full Job Description
Overview

The MRI Technologist II will be responsible for the day-to-day imaging operations in the F.M. Kirby Research Center. The incumbent is a medical and research professional with a comprehensive role that includes preparing subjects for scanning, operating the MRI scanners, removing subjects from the scanner, and basic processing and archiving of MRI data. This is a salary position working Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with no on-call.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) certification/registration required in MRI.
• Must be certified in venipuncture or have equivalent training.
• BLS CPR certification

Education
Graduate of an AART-accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Radiologic Technology program or MRI certification program is a plus

Experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an MRI technologist required.
• Interest in research and learning and applying new methods

USD $64,501.01/Yr.

Maximum pay range

USD $114,089.46/Yr.
