Job Description

We are seeking a Technical SME with expertise in the Momentum Financial System and federal budgeting processes. The ideal candidate should possess comprehensive expertise in Momentum financial modules, federal financial management, and government budgeting practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Momentum Financials, offering strategic guidance on system functionalities and industry best practices
  • Translate complex business requirements into comprehensive functional specifications, process documentation, and design frameworks
  • Provide specialized expertise in federal budgeting, funds management, and financial operations
  • Perform independent analysis of issues, research and propose solutions, and implement appropriate resolution steps
  • Support solution architecture, configuration decision-making, and thorough system testing processes
  • Facilitate client engagement initiatives and manage stakeholder relationships with professionalism
  • Manage configuration packaging, deployment promotion, and rollback planning across DEV, TEST, and PROD environments
  • Maintain release calendars aligned to fiscal processing windows and operational risk considerations
  • Support automated deployment validation and release evidence documentation
  • Coordinate environment configuration consistency and build verification activities


Qualifications

Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 17 years of relevant experience; Masters and 15 years of relevant experience; minimum of 5 years experience working with Momentum Financial System
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance with the federal government
  • Must have strong experience using Momentum.

Desired qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of federal financial management and budgeting processes
  • Proven experience leading requirements gathering and functional design activities
  • Experience facilitating working sessions and stakeholder discussions with government clients
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
