A Typical Day
The Modifications Supervisor oversees the activities of the business unit and is responsible to achieve overall productivity, quality, and timeliness goals. Delegates responsibilities to staff as appropriate, and ensures department operational activities are carried out in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.document integrity for loan modifications. Manage staff time to maximize team effectiveness.
The Modifications Supervisor will:
• Distribute guidelines for all modification programs
• Resolve escalated file disputes and complex issues
• Conduct detailed research on investor and regulatory matters
• Delegate tasks effectively to team members
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement solutions and action plans
• Ensure systems are functioning properly to support daily operations
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the team
• Provide day-to-day oversight of staff to ensure performance, accountability, and support
• Manage the team’s pipeline and assign workloads accordingly
• Train and coach staff to support performance and growth
• Provide audit feedback to promote compliance and continuous learning
• Team Leadership: Foster a positive, inclusive team culture that encourages high performance and collaboration
• Act as a subject matter expert and escalation point for internal and external concerns
• Monitor workflows, processes, and results; make improvements as needed to meet goals and stay within regulatory requirements
• Perform additional duties as needed
• Demonstrate behaviors that reflect the company’s values and desired culture
What You’ll Bring
• Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
• Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
• Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
• Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
• Strong business acumen and ability to interface with management
• Maintain organization
• Good customer service communication skills
• Regulatory knowledge

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
• Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
• Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
• Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
