Full Job Description
Everforth ECS is seeking a Model Zoo Enablement Specialist to work in the National Capital Region covering the Pentagon, Falls Church, and Fairfax. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

The War Data Platform (WDP) is a key initiative within the U.S. Department of War's (DoW) AI-First strategy introduced in early 2026. The WDP focuses on operational warfighting data and aims to accelerate the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) on the battlefield. The WDP extends to Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret environments, and supports collaboration between Combatant Commands, Joint Staff directorates, Senior Executive Service leaders, and operational analysts.

The Model Zoo Enablement Specialist maintains the user-facing guidance, metadata standards, and access request documentation that enable mission stakeholders across all classification levels to discover and request AI and machine learning models through the WDP Core Integration Model Zoo. This role supports consistent, release-aligned user experiences and operational continuity across the full WDP multi-enclave ecosystem in direct support of DoW missions, Joint Staff analysts, Combatant Command elements, and Senior Executive Service leadership.
• Maintains user-facing guidance and metadata standards governing access requests for the War Data Platform (WDP) Core Integration artificial intelligence and machine learning model zoo supporting Department of War missions, Joint Staff analysts, Combatant Command elements, and Senior Executive Service leadership.
• Develops concise request-submission instructions, metadata field definitions, and access-pattern descriptions that align with enterprise deployment architectures, cross-domain security requirements, and mission-assurance objectives.
• Updates guidance each release cycle by reviewing serving-pipeline changes, API endpoint modifications, proxy configuration updates, and model-runtime adjustments.
• Applies GitLab Continuous Integration, SharePoint, Confluence, VMware environments, and structured metadata validation tools to maintain authoritative request documentation and consistent user-experience patterns across all enclaves.
• Coordinates with Platform One, Cloud One, multi-national engineering teams, and cross-service mission partners to align metadata standards with evolving model-serving workflows, external-model integrations, and automated scanning pipelines.
• Supports operational readiness by validating request completeness, identifying missing metadata, and coordinating corrections with mission stakeholders.
• Produces mission-critical deliverables including updated user-facing guidance, metadata-standards documentation, access-request validation reports, operational risk considerations, and release-aligned documentation packages.
• Strengthens program value by reinforcing deployment consistency, advancing user-access clarity, and supporting mission-aligned adoption of artificial intelligence capabilities across the WDP Core Integration ecosystem.
• Contributes to Tier-4 support activities by maintaining authoritative request-metadata records required for incident triage, access-pattern analysis, and operational continuity.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Current Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
• 3 or more years of experience in technical writing, knowledge management, platform enablement, or IT support roles within a federal government or classified environment, including demonstrated ability to develop and maintain user-facing documentation, metadata standards, or access request guidance for enterprise software or AI/ML platform services.
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent, demonstrating validated foundational knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, and operational support practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate solution.
• Highly developed interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally interact with a diverse set of stakeholders (from peers to end-users to executive management).
