Job Description - What You'll DoIntermediate iOS developer to work as part of our Canadian Mobile Banking
development team. As part of the team, you will innovate, design and deliver solutions for a
variety of projects related to our mobile banking platform to deliver legendary mobile
experiences for our customers. You will have experience in developing native iOS solutions
within an agile development model with focus on seamless delivery, innovation, and stability of
the mobile platforms. You will be working with a team 2-3 developers on both iOS and Android platforms.
Where You'll WorkYou'll be expected to work primarily onsite at a TD location for meetings, team events and experiences. The hiring manager will provide more information about how this works for their team.
Job Requirements - What You Need to Succeed- Undergraduate degree, Postgraduate degree or Technical Certificate
- Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering)
- 1-3 years relevant experience
Must Have Skills:- 3 + years in Software Development
- 1-3+ years of experience with Swift programming language
- 2+ years of hands-on experience developing iOS applications using SwiftUI and UIKit
- Multithreaded applications experience including Swift Concurrency Async/Await and Combine
- Experience with architecture patterns like POP (Protocol Oriented Programming), MVVM and reactive e.g Combine
- Experience with Unit Testing including Swift Testing, XCTest, Xcode instruments
- Strong working knowledge of WKWebView and SFSafariViewController for integrating responsive web solutions using SSO patterns and best practices
Nice to Have Skills:- Experience working with Accessibility/Voiceover, Dynamic type and Dark mode
- Understanding of Objective C
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and scripts e.g Jenkins
- Experience with custom view animation and transition
- Experience working with Swift Package Manager (SPM)
- Experience working with Snapshot Testing
- Hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and integrating reusable frameworks and modules, ensuring modular architecture
- Demonstrated ability to write comprehensive unit tests using XCTest, Swift Testing, and Snapshot tests, ensuring high code reliability and test coverage (minimum 80%)
- Expertise in AutoLayout for creating responsive and adaptive screens across multiple device sizes
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, adept at identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing efficient solutions
- Extensive experience with Xcode Instruments, Accessibility Inspector, and Git, adhering to best practices in version control and continuous integration
- Comfortable with collective code ownership and pair programming, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing team environment
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills, capable of conducting peer code reviews and articulating complex technical concepts clearly
