Full Job Description
This position requires an active U.S. Government Security Clearance at the TS/SCI level.

Do you have a head for numbers and enjoy being an integral part of solving mission-critical, real-world problems? Do you like working with geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) data? If so, you'll love working with us! Our solutions require innovative approaches that integrate bespoke capabilities and tools to solve our customers most complex challenges. We're seeking an experienced Mission Data Scientist to work across the full analytical workflow-from pattern identification, building mission data model workflows/analytics and data visualization.

Responsibilities:
  • Work in tandem with team members and stakeholders to develop methods that solve their geospatial challenges with complex data sets, pattern identification, and visualizations.
  • Perform research and implement forward-looking analytic methodologies that leverage statistical techniques and pattern recognition.
  • Assist analysts in developing structured approaches to predictive intelligence that increase timeliness and accuracy of assessments.
  • Communicate progress, results, risks, and challenges to government clients, partners, and project leadership
  • Support program execution by integrating diverse data science skillsets, managing sprint projections, assessing risks, and occasionally traveling for meetings and demonstrations
  • Research and implement advanced analytic methodologies that enhance tradecraft, mitigate bias, and improve analytic efficiency.
  • Support the automation of structured analytic methods and workflows to increase repeatability and scalability of intelligence production.
  • Design and build visualizations and dashboards that communicate complex data insights to technical and non-technical audiences.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a CI polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree with relevant experience
  • 8+ years developing and implementing enterprise geospatial intelligence / operational analytics modernization, data strategy initiatives across defense and intelligence environments
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing projects / programs supporting complex organizational objectives
  • Experience with geospatial datasets, analysis and GIS technologies.
  • Experience working with remote sensing, including EO / SAR imagery metadata, sensor-based data streams and familiarity with government collection platforms.
  • Experience developing predictive analytics, enterprise geospatial systems, and real-time operational intelligence solutions supporting mission-critical decision-making
  • Experience utilizing programming languages / tools for data analysis, automation, and reporting, such as Python, SQL, R,
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced operational environments
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with experience briefing technical and non-technical audiences


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams to complete complex data science projects
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced operational environments
  • Experience presenting analytical findings to executive leadership
  • Experience serving as Product Owner, Scrum Master, Agile Lead, or Program Manager
  • Experience developing dashboards and executive reporting solutions using tools such as Tableau, Splunk, ArcGIS, or equivalent platforms

• The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $137,000.00 - $182,000.00 - $200,200.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
