Job Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Engineer for the F-35 Mission Data File Release (MDFR) project. The F-35 Mission Data File Release (MDFR) tool is used by our F-35 customer Reprogramming Labs to encrypt and field Mission Data File (MDF) sets, which are pivotal to the execution of successful missions and overall operation of the F-35.
The selected candidate will assume a role on the MDFR team supporting lab operations encrypting MDFs for lab test activities, supporting lab shifts as needed, and managing MDF encryption that directly supports flight test operations. They will help refine processes for encryption and release of MDFs, ensuring MDFs meet associated Security, Export, and Foreign Disclosure requirements, communicating concerns and assisting with root cause analysis as needed. The selected candidate should have software development experience, stepping in and assisting with MDFR software deployment operations as needed and providing hands on assistance with end user installation and operation.
Candidate must be able to obtain a clearance and must process for a company-sponsored secret clearance prior to start.
**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**

Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related degree or equivalent experience
Desired skills
-Experience designing, developing and maintaining, front-end and back-end software for a microservice or service-oriented architecture based software application within a CI/CD pipeline.
-Experience utilizing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process(es) in a software development environment intended for production.
-Experience leading a project or team
-Strong Cross-Functional Leadership Skills
-Strong work ethic and self-motivation
-Ability to lead discussions and determine resolutions to software technical problems

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $113,900 - $200,905. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
