Position OverviewSummit Technologies is seeking a Mission Command Software Subject Matter Expert to support the Army's fire support mission command software modernization efforts. The selected candidate will provide operational expertise supporting software development, testing, fielding, and lifecycle management activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Provide expertise on current and future fire support mission command software systems.
- Support software requirements development and modernization efforts.
- Participate in software testing, evaluations, and fielding activities.
- Capture lessons learned and identify capability gaps.
- Develop and update fire support software TTPs and doctrine recommendations.
- Coordinate with product managers, acquisition organizations, and Army stakeholders.
- Support development of capability documents and operational requirements.
- Prepare reports, briefings, and executive-level communications.
- Analyze operational impacts and recommend future software capabilities.
Required Qualifications - Active Secret security clearance.
- Minimum 12 years of operational Field Artillery Fire Support experience.
- Experience with fire support mission command software systems.
- Knowledge of Army capability development and acquisition processes.
- Strong analytical, writing, and briefing skills.
- Minimum 2 years of Microsoft Office experience.
