IDS is seeking a Mission Command Exercise Leader to support the planning, development, and execution of mission command exercises. The selected candidate will provide senior-level operational expertise, support exercise development efforts, and assist in managing resources required for exercise execution in support of Special Operations Forces training objectives.Key Duties
• Support exercise planning, development, and execution activities.
• Apply knowledge of exercise design considerations.
• Manage elements and resources associated with exercise development and execution.
• Coordinate personnel, time, infrastructure, hardware, networks, databases, software, and security requirements supporting exercises.
• Support mission command training and exercise objectives.Requirements
• Secret clearance.
• Master's degree.
• Graduate of the U.S. Army Special Forces Officer Qualifying Course (18A), or Warrant Officer 180A.
• Graduate of a U.S. military officer's Senior Service College, or Graduate of Warrant Officer Senior Service Education Course.
• Assignment to Special Operations Forces (Special Forces, Military Information Support Operations, Civil Affairs, Ranger Regiment, Special Operations Aviation, Special Mission Units).
• Commander at the battalion level or Chief Warrant Officer at Group level or higher.
• Served as primary staff at the SOJTF level or higher.Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of the basic considerations of exercise design.
• Experience managing the elements or resources of exercise development and execution, including people, time, infrastructure, hardware, networks, databases, software, and security.Compensation
