Mission Assurance Specialist The Opportunity: To manage Military Health System (MHS) risk effectively, MHS organizations need help decomposing their mission, identifying strategic requirements, assessing vulnerabilities, and building resiliency and redundancy into critical capabilities. The MHS needs experts who understand mission assurance and the complexities of their mission and provide tangible, data driven advice on strategic risk management and standard risk methodologies that support the warfighter and drive mission outcomes. That's why we need you, a mission expert who knows how to analyze every aspect of your customer's operations and use your expertise to provide risk-informed decision support to organizational leadership. This is an opportunity to provide professional support and joint military medical expertise through assistance to the military health community and reviewing critical military medical capabilities required to support the joint operational force and the delivery of care. This position will allow you to work with a client's organization to leverage knowledge of the Military Departments, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, and Combat Support Agency organizational structure and missions to conduct analysis of large-scale strategic efforts, support drafting policy and doctrine, and monitor compliance and effectiveness of military medical support, including care of active duty and other beneficiaries. As a member of our project team, you'll work directly with experts in Service, Joint, or Defense headquarters with a full comprehension of the Department of War (DoW) MHS. You Have: 3+ years of experience in the Military Health System (MHS) in a Service and Joint capacity Experience with Microsoft Office Knowledge of the workings of the DoW and healthcare industries Knowledge of Service and Joint medical doctrine and medical operations through the continuum of care Ability to perform analysis of medical doctrine, policy, plans, and operations Ability to communicate with senior military officers and government officials Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience with Mission Assurance Decision Support System Possession of excellent analytical and verbal and written communication skills TS/SCI clearance Master's degree Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Compensation Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
