Job Description

The Military Sourcing Lead will build, influence, and execute Aramark's military sourcing strategy across priority roles and lines of business. This role is responsible for developing qualified military talent pipelines, converting military-connected relationships into pipeline-ready candidates, and partnering closely with Field Talent Acquisition, hiring leaders, Global Inclusion, Employer Brand, and the Salute ERG to move talent from outreach to hire. A successful candidate will bring strong military sourcing or recruiting experience, business acumen, and the ability to translate military skills into civilian role requirements, candidate engagement strategies, hiring team guidance, and measurable hiring outcomes. This is a hybrid role in our Philadelphia Headquarters location.

Job Responsibilities

  • Military Pipeline Strategy: Build and manage qualified military talent pipelines aligned to priority roles, military hiring goals, business demand, and future workforce needs.
  • Candidate Identification and Screening: Source, engage, and assess transitioning service members, veterans, military spouses, and military-connected talent for current and future opportunities.
  • Military Candidate Engagement: Create targeted outreach and relationship-building strategies that build trust with military talent, nurture passive candidates over time, clearly translate Aramark career opportunities, and position qualified talent for conversion when the right role becomes available.
  • Field TA Partnership: Partner with Field Talent Acquisition to place qualified military candidates into priority openings and ensure strong handoffs, follow-up, and candidate movement through the hiring process.
  • Salute ERG Partnership: Partner with Global Inclusion and the Salute ERG to convert internal relationships, referrals, events, and networking activity into pipeline-ready candidates and measurable hiring outcomes.
  • External Military Partnerships: Turn military partnerships, transition programs, veteran organizations, military spouse networks, and related sourcing channels into a steady flow of qualified candidates.
  • Hiring Team Enablement: Equip hiring teams with tailored job descriptions, interview guides, candidate profiles, military skill translation support, and toolkits that improve selection quality and hiring readiness.
  • Insights, Metrics, and Accountability: Track pipeline health, candidate conversion, offers, hires, and military hiring progress; use insights to influence sourcing strategy, prioritization, and stakeholder decisions.
  • Enterprise Sourcing Alignment: Help align sourcing team activity to military hiring goals by sharing best practices, pipeline insights, market intelligence, and candidate engagement approaches.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of progressive sourcing, recruiting, talent acquisition, or related experience, with demonstrated experience building pipelines, influencing stakeholders, and delivering hires against business-critical roles.
  • Military sourcing or military recruiting experience required, including experience engaging veterans, transitioning service members, military spouses, military-affiliated talent communities, or military partnership channels.
  • Current or former military service, military spouses, or deep experience supporting military talent programs preferred.

Skills:
  • Strong sourcing capabilities across LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS/CRM tools, Indeed, Boolean search, military-focused sourcing channels, veteran organizations, transition programs, and niche talent communities.
  • Ability to influence recruiters, hiring managers, HR partners, business leaders, ERG leaders, and external partners through clear communication, strong follow-through, and data-backed recommendations.
  • Ability to translate military experience into civilian role requirements, candidate summaries, interview guidance, and hiring manager talking points.
  • Strong execution skills with the ability to manage multiple pipelines, move candidates through complex processes, and adapt quickly to changing business priorities.
  • Strong organizational discipline, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate candidate, pipeline, and activity data.
