Qualifications

• 12+ years in enterprise application/platform architecture.
• 6+ years in mainframe modernization or legacy transformation.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale mainframe-to-cloud migration programs.
• Expertise in GCP architecture and services.
• Knowledge of cloud migration strategies: re-host, re-platform, re-factor.
• Familiarity with event-driven and hybrid architectures.
• Understanding of security, IAM, compliance, and governance principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale mainframe modernization and cloud migration initiatives on GCP.
• Advise executive stakeholders on cloud transformation strategies and roadmaps.
• Assess and modernize legacy systems built on COBOL, PL/I, CICS, and others.
• Design comprehensive migration strategies such as lift & shift, re-platform, and re-factor.
• Architect GCP Dual Run solutions for safe cutovers and validations.
• Develop end-to-end GCP architecture addressing applications, data, networking, and security aspects.
• Drive the adoption of automation, DevOps, CI/CD, and Agentic AI practices.
