Overview

UnityPoint Health is actively recruiting for a Nurse Midwife to join our team in Moline, IL

  • Opportunity to practice Inpatient/outpatient medicine in an established clinic
  • Provide pregnancy, intra partum, post-partum, annual and GYN care in our clinic and hospital setting
  • Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
  • Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients and the community
  • Full-time position including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
  • Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination


Responsibilities

  • Average of 15-18 patients per day
  • Shared call amongst the providers. Triaged through MyNurse
  • Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
  • Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
  • Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills


Qualifications

  • Board Certified Nurse Midwife
  • 1-4 years of experience preferred
  • Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Illinois
  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
  • Eligible to work in the United States

We offer
  • Initial 2-year salary guarantee of approximately $125,000 - $155,000 with the ability to exceed compensation and receive 100% of the upside on an innovative compensation program.
    • Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, internal equity, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on an individual's qualifications. The pay range does not include other forms of incentives which may include bonuses or differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits that may be applicable to this role
