Midland Field Operations ManagerAs the Midland Field Operations Manager, you will lead and coordinate field service operations in Midland Texas, ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused service delivery. This role is responsible for managing personnel, resources, budgets, operational performance, and customer relationships while driving continuous improvement and maintaining Vallourec's high standards for safety and service excellence.
Your Role at a Glance- Lead, coordinate, and oversee field service operations across multiple service locations.
- Direct and assign service jobs to the appropriate field service personnel.
- Coordinate the availability and utilization of service equipment and resources.
- Manage departmental operating budgets, records, and performance metrics.
- Develop, recommend, and implement operational policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Conduct routine visits to field service locations to support operations and ensure consistency.
- Perform safety audits and promote strategies that strengthen workplace safety performance.
- Train and develop employees on job responsibilities, company policies, and operational procedures.
- Oversee inventory management of service tools, equipment, and accessories.
- Support customer relationships by partnering with Sales and participating in customer visits.
- Maintain collaboration with Sales, Manufacturing, and Service departments to achieve business objectives.
- Provide on-call support as required to meet customer and operational needs.
What Sets You ApartWe're looking for individuals who bring the right mix of experience, mindset, and motivation:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in field service or operational leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of drilling and completion operations and related tubular products/equipment.
- Experience leading teams and managing multiple operational locations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage priorities, make sound decisions, and execute with attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including domestic and international travel.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to successfully complete applicable employment testing and requirements.
