Job Summary: Fort Lee Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher for Lewis F. Cole Middle School

Qualifications:
  • Must hold a NJ Teacher of English Language Arts or Social Studies 5-8 or K-12 certificate, plus the Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) endorsement.
  • Experience working with middle school students.
  • Knowledge of special education practices, including development and implementation of IEPs.
  • Knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards in English Language Arts.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Working Conditions: Full time, tenure track, 10 month position, with benefits.

Salary Range: Based on FLEA salary guide which ranges between $64,375 to $121,709, commensurate with experience
