Full Job Description
Razor is looking for a Mid-Level System Administrator to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot mission-critical U.S. Government IT infrastructure. This role provides advanced operational support across server, storage, network, and endpoint environments while supporting system performance, capacity planning, and resolution of escalated technical issues.

Education & Certification Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five years of additional System Administrator experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.

Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance required for classified assignments. A full-scope polygraph may be required depending on the specific assignment and access requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise IT systems
  • Manage daily system configuration and operational activities
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support and escalation
  • Monitor and resolve issues across client/server, storage, network, and related infrastructure
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization
  • Perform capacity analysis and system planning
  • Conduct in-depth troubleshooting of complex IT issues
  • Analyze escalated incidents and provide technical recommendations
  • Configure and manage UNIX, Windows, and other applicable operating systems
  • Install and maintain operating system software
  • Configure network components and implement system enhancements
  • Support hardware issues through resolution
  • Communicate technical status and findings to Government and internal stakeholders

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of System Administrator experience supporting programs of similar scope and complexity
  • Experience administering Windows and UNIX/Linux environments
  • In-depth IT systems troubleshooting experience
  • Experience supporting client/server, storage, and networking infrastructure
  • Experience with system performance optimization and capacity planning
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills

Desired Skills:
  • Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community environments
  • Enterprise server and infrastructure administration
  • Network configuration and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with system monitoring and performance management
  • Experience supporting classified systems
