Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst

Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) Supply Chain is seeking a Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 3) to join our 787 Final Assembly Fulfillment team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 3rd Shift.

You will incorporate change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions as well as apply Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain. This role involves support of our Material Integration Centers (MIC) and Line Side Control Centers (LSCC) within 787 Final Assembly Operations, across multiple materials management and fulfillment areas to ensure seamless end-to-end supply flow.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes complex material requirements
  • Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan
  • Determines part number attributes
  • Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability
  • Ensures on-time delivery; documents and resolves order delinquencies
  • Reports schedule adherence issues
  • Develops and controls inventory plans
  • Optimizes inventory levels
  • Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories
  • Initiates audits
  • Develops and creates schedules for products and services
  • Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals
  • Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain and inventory management
  • 3+ years of experience performing data analysis and/or reporting
  • 3+ years of experience in a position where priorities changed frequently & customer service was critical to the team's success
  • 1+ years of experience with Velocity, KITS, Order Manager, and ERPLN systems


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace related manufacturing operations or production support
  • 5+ years of experience integrating between multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision
