Mid-Level Program Scheduler Candidates must be able to adapt in an exciting, dynamic operational environment while maintaining relationships with stakeholders and customers. Responsibilities may include:
- Developing comprehensive program schedules in Microsoft Project 2024, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives and milestones.
- Leading the resolution of program issues, uncovering and resolving issues associated with the development and implementation of operational programs, and analyzing program metrics.
- Recommending program recovery acceleration plans, changes, and corrective actions, while leading the implementation of Program Management Best Practices and conducting Independent Reviews.
- Developing and implementing customer and program communication and contact plans to ensure effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
Experience and Qualifications:To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:- 13 Years of experience in Scheduling support or Scheduler roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
- A Bachelor's degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master's Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience
Required Qualifications: - Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
- Expertise in developing and managing comprehensive program schedules, ensuring alignment with program objectives and milestones.
- Strong ability to identify and manage key program level interfaces between activities, teams, suppliers, partners, and customers.
- Proven track record in resolving program issues, analyzing program metrics, and recommending recovery acceleration plans and corrective actions.
- Expertise in implementing Program Management Best Practices and conducting Independent Reviews.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective communication and contact plans.
- Experience with Microsoft Project 2024 and Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Powerpoint)
Desired Qualifications: - Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Knowledge or experience in Milestones Professional 2025
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in program management.
- Experience in leading highly complex program architectures and plans across diverse teams and stakeholders
