We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Management Analyst located in the Washington, D.C. area.
What you'll do:
The Mid-Level Management Analyst will provide program management support to a U.S. Navy program office.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, review and analyze information to make recommendations to the Government.
- Describe problems, analyze relevant data, interview managers and employees while observing their operations, prepare and solve mathematical models, and develop solutions to problems. While preparing recommendations, understand the organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture.
- Report findings and recommendations to the Government, both orally and in writing. For some projects, management analysts are retained to help implement the suggestions they have made.
- Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings, conferences, and events.
- Assist in the development of briefing material and drafting documents in accordance with Navy Correspondence Manual guidelines.
- Coordinate, monitor, and execute data calls to gather inputs from both internal and external stakeholders. Consolidate and communicate information from data calls to government leadership for further action.
- Evaluate operational deficiencies, recommend improvements, and coordinate their implementation
- Transcribe and summarize meeting minutes and notes and assist in the preparation and closure of action items
- Assistin the scheduling of appointments in support of Government customer, the coordination of arrangements for meetings and conferences, and the arrangement of travel reservations and accommodations
- Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required
- Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC's clients. Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience providing program management support to U.S. Navy program offices
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Eligibility to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
