Job DescriptionDescription We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mid-Level Java Developer with hands-on experience in Java application development, AWS cloud services, and AI-enabled solutions. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise applications while supporting cloud-based solutions and AI integration efforts. This role requires solid technical knowledge, the ability to work independently on assigned tasks, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
- Support the design and implementation of solutions using AWS cloud services.
- Assist in building and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable applications.
- Work with architects, senior developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Integrate AI solutions or AI-enabled services into applications as needed.
- Troubleshoot application issues and support resolution across development, testing, and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning sessions.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established standards and best practices.
- Support API development, system integration, and application enhancements.
- Contribute to cloud migration, modernization, and deployment activities.
- Help maintain documentation for application design, technical processes, and support procedures.
- Collaborate with team members in an agile development environment.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of experience with a BA/BS degree, or
- 6 years of experience with an MA/MS degree.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java development.
- Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-based application support.
- Experience working with AI solutions, AI-enabled applications, or AI integration.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience with software development lifecycle processes and agile methodologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Selected candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, or JPA.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud deployment tools and infrastructure-as-code, such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Exposure to AI/ML tools, generative AI solutions, or model integration.
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience supporting cloud migration or modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and IAM concepts.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
