As a mid level Android developer, you provide guidance on the development and maintenance of Charles Schwab's flagship thinkorswim4 Android application! In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a team of talented engineers, on one of the most sophisticated trading platforms in the world, built on a codebase we are constantly updating with the latest and greatest industry standards

What you have

Interpreting designs and converting them to usable features in the thinkorswim app Helping support the team with bug fixes, code maintenance, testing, debugging, and documentation Providing analysis of problems and recommending solutions Working in conjunction with business analysts or more senior developers on product solutions Implementing and maintaining application software throughout the full code life-cycle Understanding and resolving mobile security issues Working with asynchronous, non-blocking interactions

 

Required Qualifications

6 Good understanding of socket based connectivity and Mobtr protocol 6 Good understanding of the TOS Mobile charting library 6 Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues using best practices to support live applications 6 Prioritizes compliance, security, and scalability of data systems 6 Executes strategies to restore services promptly and address disruptions 6 Addresses QA challenges by applying best practices in testing and compliance 6 Validates requirements and constraints to support effective development and operations 6 Monitors and addresses security policy violations using best practices 6 Resolves software design challenges using predictive and adaptive methods 6 Applies best practices to build, test, and validate software components while resolving issues 6 Consolidates software changes into secure, stable releases using best practices 6 Ensures systems align with cloud architectures using modern design methodologies
