Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Creates measurement plans from engineering drawings that usephotogrammetry, laser trackers, articulating arms, or other metrology 3-D instruments to measure assemblies and subassemblies
  • Uses computer-aided designs (CAD) graphic user interface software for design
  • Set up and operate 3-D metrology instruments to check overall and detailedalignment, fit, or adjustment of assemblies
  • Develop training forperforming 3-D measurements
  • Devises and implements methods andprocedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision andaccuracy of products
  • Performs statistical analysis to assess,characterize, control, and manage risks of product quality andassociated use conditions and non-conformances
  • Ensures that correctivemeasures and deviations meet acceptable reliability standards and thatdocumentation is compliant with requirements
  • Perform root causeanalysis of incidents requiring corrective action
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years ofexperience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Able to follow complex instructions accurately.
  • Able to properly use and care for precision measurement equipment.
  • Able to approach an issue with a logical framework.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Flexible hours are required at times to support internal and external clients.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • STEM background is preferred.
  • Associates Degree or higher in technical field is preferred.
  • Experience with measurement specific software tools (Spatial Analyzer, PolyWorks, Verisurf, Metrolog).
  • Hands-on measurement experience in a Lab and Production environment is a plus.
  • Experience with photogrammetry, laser trackers, articulating arms, or other metrology 3-D measurement instruments.
  • Experience withCATIA,Enovia,3-D ExperienceandSAP.

Summary Pay Range - Mid-Level (Level 3): $69,550 - $106,650
