Overview

ITA is seeking a Mid-Level Business Analyst to join the team in Fort Eustis, Virginia in a hybrid position.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experiencedMid-Level Business Analystto support the U.S. Army T2COM mission. The Business Analyst will serve as a critical liaison between government stakeholders, mission users, technical teams, developers, and solutions architects to identify business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements for technology solutions.

The successful candidate will analyze existing business processes, identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, document functional and non-functional requirements, develop user stories and acceptance criteria, and support the design, development, testing, and deployment of solutions leveraging theMicrosoft Power Platform and related technologies.

Key Responsibilties:

  • Serve as a primary liaison between T2COM mission stakeholders, business users, and technical delivery teams.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, working sessions, and requirements-gathering activities.
  • Analyze existing business processes, systems, workflows, and operational procedures to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Document current-state and future-state business processes using appropriate process modeling techniques.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve mission efficiency through Power Platform and other digital solutions.
  • Elicit, analyze, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into clearuser stories, use cases, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with Power Platform developers and solutions architects to ensure requirements are technically feasible and accurately implemented.
  • Maintain and prioritize requirements within an Agile product backlog.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demonstrations, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical development teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
  • Develop process flows, workflow diagrams, data-flow diagrams, wireframes, mockups, and other artifacts to communicate business needs.
  • Identify business rules, data requirements, system interfaces, user roles, permissions, and exception scenarios.
  • Analyze data requirements and work with technical teams to define appropriate data elements, sources, relationships, and reporting needs.
  • Support development of Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, Power BI reports, and other solutions by providing detailed functional requirements and user feedback.
  • Review solution designs and prototypes to ensure they address documented business requirements.
  • Participate in application demonstrations and provide feedback to development teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute or supportuser acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Develop test scenarios, test cases, expected results, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support release planning, deployment activities, and post-deployment validation.
  • Assist with change management and communications related to new or modified business capabilities.
  • Maintain requirements traceability from stakeholder needs through development, testing, and deployment.
  • Identify conflicting, incomplete, or ambiguous requirements and facilitate resolution with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Support preparation of briefings, demonstrations, status updates, and other program deliverables.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on assigned business processes and mission capabilities.
  • Perform other analytical and program support duties as required.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4+ years of experiencein business analysis, systems analysis, process improvement, requirements analysis, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and system requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supportingU.S. Army, DoD, or federal government programs.
  • Experience working withMicrosoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with low-code/no-code application development and business process automation.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online.

  • Familiarity with BPMN or comparable process modeling standards.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps Boards and Wiki.

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization.
  • Familiarity withDoD RMF, NIST, FISMA, Zero Trust, or federal cybersecurity requirements.
  • Experience with configuration management and change management processes.
  • Business analysis or Agile certifications such asCBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or CSM.
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
  • ActiveSecret security clearance.

Pay range for this position is $110,000 - $125,000 annually.

This position has a broad compensation range due to the complexities of government contracting, including contract pricing, labor category requirements, funding parameters, and varying levels of candidate experience and qualifications.
