The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an accomplished and forward‑leaning Microsoft Endpoint Lead to manage one of our Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) engineering teams supporting the EITaaS program. This role is built for an engineering leader who thrives on driving continuous improvement, elevating technical execution, and enabling teams to deliver resilient, scalable enterprise solutions.

As the Microsoft Endpoint Lead, you will guide and mentor a team of engineers responsible for architecting, implementing, and enhancing an enterprise‑grade Unified Endpoint Management solution for Microsoft Windows endpoints across the Department of the Air Force (DAF). Your leadership will ensure engineering excellence, operational efficiency, and alignment with CACI’s technical standards and the strategic objectives of the EITaaS program.

Within the EITaaS environment, CACI provides modernized capabilities and services—including enterprise ITSM, service desk operations, endpoint management and security, CONUS/OCONUS field support, and full life‑cycle sustainment for end‑user devices. Your team’s engineering outcomes will directly support the DAF’s transformation from IT‑centric operations to mission‑focused operations, driving increased agility, reliability, and security across the enterprise

 This position is hybrid, with on-site work located in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and defining of system architecture for Windows desktop solutions and applications

  • Review completion and implementation of system additions and enhancements with recommendations to senior leaders related to continual improvement

  • Lead the planning and execution of UEM engineering projects, focusing on enhancing and optimizing our tool implementations.  

  • Manage a team of experienced engineers and administrators focused on enterprise endpoint management tool and platforms for software deployment, patching, and compliance reporting

  • Maintain and document workflows, designs, and data flows of endpoint platforms, management tools with a focus on security and compliance

  • Partner with Infrastructure and Security teams on project execution and incident resolution

  • Establish endpoint configuration standards across a large and complex enterprise environment  

  • Plan, execute, and close engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.  

  • Develop and implement strategies for improving UEM processes, systems, and products, with a focus on short-term results (1 year or less).  

  • Identify, communicate and provide mitigation recommendations on risks and issues 

  • Maintain industry knowledge with a focus on maintaining a secure and compliant environment and provide Continual Improvement recommendations  

  • Develop Dashboards, Reports, and Metrics that provide leadership with ability to make decisions and view health of enterprise systems

  • Communicate effectively and collaboratively with customers, stakeholders, and peers 

  • Support daily updates of project status, roadblocks, and areas of support needs 

  • Amplify a team of engineers focused on endpoint management technologies by identifying individual areas of opportunity for growth and accountability

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 12+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).  

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) systems engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.  

  • Demonstrated understanding of operations within a complex hybrid environment.  

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams of 6+ experienced professionals.  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and explain policies/procedures to stakeholders within and outside the job function.  

  • Advanced knowledge in UEM systems engineering and related technical disciplines.  

  • An active DoD secret clearance  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  

  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced and highly complex environment with frequently changing requirements 

Desired:

  • Experience with ServiceNow   

  • Additional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or Microsoft certifications.  

  • Experience with implementing and optimizing cloud-based UEM solutions.  

  • Experience with DOD, DOW, or Federal Agencies
