About Your Role

Data Airflow engineers the flow of data and air through complex infrastructure. The Microsoft Cloud Administrator owns and operates our all-cloud Microsoft environment, including cloud identity, security, and Microsoft 365. This role manages cloud identity, secures our cloud and endpoints, and keeps Microsoft 365 running reliably for every team, partnering with the Director of IT on roadmap and risk.

What You'll Do (Job Responsibilities)
  • Administer the full Microsoft cloud stack across the environment.
  • Manage cloud identity, including users, groups, devices, and conditional access.
  • Own Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Power Platform apps.
  • Leverage PowerShell and Power Automate to script automations and streamline operations.
  • Lead security operations across the environment, including Microsoft Defender, Intune endpoint management, multifactor authentication, and data loss prevention.
  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to support and access requests.
  • Centrally deploy patches, baselines, and compliance policies to keep systems current and audit-ready.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and changes for consistency and handoff.
  • Provide escalated support to teams and partner with the Director of IT on roadmap and risk.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications:
  • Five or more years administering Microsoft cloud environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
  • Proven experience securing identity, endpoints, and cloud services.
  • Working knowledge of Intune, Microsoft Defender, and conditional access.


  • Strong PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft certifications, including one or more of the following:
  • SC-300 Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator (Entra ID, conditional access, identity governance).
  • MS-102 Microsoft 365 Administrator (tenant-wide Microsoft 365 management).
  • AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate (core Azure cloud administration).
  • SC-500 Cloud and AI Security Engineer Associate (cloud and AI security operations; replaces the retiring AZ-500, which remains acceptable during transition).
  • SC-900 Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (foundational credential).
  • Experience in a regulated or engineering-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and security frameworks.
