Summary:

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a motivated Microsoft 365 (M365) Support Engineer with experience in GCC High (GCCH) environments and modern collaboration technologies. This role supports solutions across SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and the full Power Platform-including Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio-ensuring these tools integrate effectively within the broader M365 ecosystem. The engineer will assist in modernizing business processes, supporting cloud migrations, and enabling users on secure, compliant M365 capabilities. The position also plays a key role in reinforcing data governance, security, and regulatory compliance while helping the organization adopt modern communication and collaboration tools.

Role Overview:

Provide operational support for Power Platform and M365 tools, assist users adopting cloud capabilities, and maintain documentation aligned with governance and GCCH requirements. Work closely with the Service Desk and Tier 3 engineering teams to ensure consistent, complaint service delivery.

What You Will Do:

Core Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, Power Pages, Copilot Studio, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Maintain and update low-code/no-code solutions; resolve workflow, permission, and connector issues
  • Manage ServiceNow incidents and requests with thorough troubleshooting notes
  • Provide user guidance, onboarding, and small-group learning sessions for M365 and Power Platform tools
  • Create and maintain Knowledgebase articles, SOPs, and operational documentation
  • Assist with testing, rollout, and communication of new M365 features
  • Recommend improvements that strengthen reliability, efficiency, and user experience


Data Governance & Compliance
  • Support adherence to federal and organizational security standards (FedRAMP, FISMA, CMMC, DISA STIG) through consistent operational practices
  • Assist with maintaining Purview policies, including data classification, retention, eDiscovery, and DLP
  • Ensure support activities follow GCCH governance requirements and established compliance controls
  • Document configuration changes and operational processes to support audit and policy needs


Collaboration & Cross-Cloud Support
  • Support collaboration across M365 tools while following established governance standards
  • Assist with GCCH migrations, service upgrades, and cross tenant/B2B access processes
  • Collaborate with compliance teams, IT leadership, and mission partners to maintain secure, consistent collaboration
  • Provide operational support for HII International collaboration, including troubleshooting for globally aligned SharePoint Online, Teams, and cross tenant sharing
  • Help maintain stable and compliant international collaboration through permissions support and documentation


What We're Looking For:

  • 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
  • US Citizenship; ability to obtain clearance
  • 2-4 years supporting Microsoft 365 environments
  • Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI, Copilot Studio, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in GCCH or regulated cloud environments
  • Familiarity with Power Platform/Copilot Studio, M365 Copilot, and Copilot Chat
  • ServiceNow or ITSM experience
  • Understanding of Entra ID and cloud security
  • Awareness of Purview, DLP, retention, and data governance tools
