Roles & Responsibilities:- Lead semiconductor microelectronics-focused support for MITRE to a leading government sponsor
- Leverage outreach support across MITRE as well as whole of government, other support contractors, and industry partners
- Interface with laboratory and other technical specialists for analysis related to semiconductor microelectronics development activities
- Interface across sponsor organization on quick-turn activities as well as longer deliverables including planning recommendations, studies, and development support.
- Perform recommendations for assurance assessments of system-of-systems, related to semiconductor microelectronics development programs.
- Provide systems engineering support across a broad set of assurance-based activities
- Will work primarily at government site at direction of sponsor
- Some travel required expected, 10-20% varying dependent on project needs and government direction
Basic Qualifications:- Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or 5 years and a PhD
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience in microelectronics design and/or related development activities
- Academic, technical and/or professional expertise in semiconductors and/or microelectronics
- Working knowledge of semiconductor microelectronics fabrication and development, including related quality assurance and testing processes
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- U.S. Citizenship required
- This position has an on-site requirement of 5 days a week on-site
Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced degree in microelectronics design or closely related field
- Academic, technical and/or professional expertise in semiconductors and/or microelectronics
- Working knowledge of semiconductor microelectronics fabrication and development, including related quality assurance and testing processes
- Experience in some combination of the following technical areas: semiconductor device design and development, EDA tools, microlithographic processing, device packaging and testing.
- A professional history of technology development or innovation in semiconductor microelectronics, including, for example, publications and/or patents in related areas
- Experience with Space/Satellite-related projects, processes and related industries.
- Experience making technical recommendations to government sponsors
- Experience in program-office environments
- Demonstrated strong communications skills (verbal and written); ability to understand highly technical material and converse with technical experts in semiconductor microelectronics but also generate materials for audiences with expertise outside of microelectronics across the government and industry enterprise

Salary compensation range and midpoint:$173,200 - $216,500 - $259,800 Annual
