Job Description

Position Summary

The Property Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing localized marketing strategies that drive traffic, support leasing objectives, enhance brand awareness, and maximize property performance. This role partners closely with property teams, leasing, asset management, development, and corporate marketing functions to identify business opportunities and deliver marketing strategies, integrated marketing campaigns, events, activations, and digital initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with marketing funded property teams and functional stakeholders to:
    • Understand the business opportunity that marketing can help address.
    • Create and implement localized marketing strategies designed to support business objectives.
    • Source and manage local agency partners (if required).
    • Partner with channel lead to create and execute media plans.
    • Partner with internal and third-party resources to execute marketing plans.
    • Determine creative requirements for digital and traditional marketing tactics.
    • Liaise with creative and property teams to request, print and install signage in support of marketing plans.
    • Support community event initiatives and activations in collaboration with property teams (i.e., communication plan, creative requests, partner management).
    • Partner with internal stakeholders to create material in support of leasing activities when necessary.
  • Create, edit, and publish content to mall web sites and social media platforms, while following brand and quality standards.
  • Partner with accounting to manage budgets, partner with legal to oversee contract development and manage agency relationships.
  • Identify and implement efficient marketing business processes and practices.
  • Monitor, measure and report activation performance and campaign results to deliver insights and drive continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with the public relations team to respond to media inquiries and generate media interest in marketing activations.
  • Partner with channel lead to ensure web sites are search optimized and aligned with editorial guidelines and brand standards.
  • Provide regular status reports and briefings to stakeholders and functional leadership teams.
  • Leverage Project Management platform (Wrike) to organize and inform work-teams, document decisions, share creative assets and assign tasks.
  • Represent marketing team as marketing subject matter expert, consult with internal and external partners to ideate and deliver marketing strategies and plans.
  • Educate local teams on marketing best practices and ensure that all tactics are on-brand.
  • Manage and prioritize work effectively to ensure internal deadlines, timetables and approvals are met.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field required or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing.
  • Minimum 3 years of digital marketing experience.
  • Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, stakeholder-driven environments.
  • Exceptional project management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with MS Office, digital marketing, and project management platforms.Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in retail real estate or consumer marketing.
  • Familiarity with email lifecycle marketing, paid and organic social integration, web and mobile engagement, digital-to-property traffic strategies, and QR, loyalty or shopper engagement programs.
  • Experience working with retailer or brand partners on marketing initiatives.
  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, or creative partners.


Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support business continuity during high-volume campaign periods, events, or time-sensitive activations.


Compensation
  • Salary type: Exempt
  • Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
  • Annual Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000
  • Annual Bonus: 15%
