What You Will Do • Oversee and manage the operational execution of ongoing projects, serving as the primary liaison between project management, planning, project teams, and line management.
• Review project and budget status, manage schedules, and prepare comprehensive status reports.
• Evaluate project issues and develop effective resolutions to achieve productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction objectives.
• Establish and implement mechanisms for monitoring project progress, and lead intervention and problem-solving efforts in collaboration with project managers, line managers, and clients.
What You Must Have- 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience.
- Candidate must have Waterfront Test Engineering experience
- Candidate must have Project Management experience
- Candidate must have proficiency in personal computers and common business software applications, including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, desktop tools, and email programs, is required.
- Must have a Confidential security clearance.
Bonus Points For Having- Familiarity with the E84 Test Engineering Departments of Newport News Shipbuilding
Physical RequirementsMay be required to visit job site in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level.
