BJC is hiring for a Product Data and Analytics Manager

Overview

Role Purpose

The Manager, Product Data & Analytics leads the strategy, planning, and delivery of data-driven products and capabilities that align with organizational goals and drive measurable value across business units. In addition to owning product strategy and roadmaps, this role provides leadership and direction to a team of Product Specialists and Sr. Product Specialists, ensuring consistent execution, alignment to best practices, and ongoing development of team capabilities. This position exists to ensure a cohesive, scalable product management function that drives both tactical delivery and long-term innovation in data and analytics.

Responsibilities
  • Leads the definition and continuous improvement of product management practices, backlog hygiene, stakeholder communication, and feedback integration across the team. Introduces standard processes for requirement gathering, prioritization, and product feedback loops. Aligns team operations with enterprise agile frameworks, and ensure consistent documentation, usage reporting, and decision tracking.
  • Provides day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management for a team of Product Specialists and Business Analysts. Ensures clear role expectations, support professional growth, and promote a collaborative, agile-oriented culture. Conducts regular one-on-ones, manage performance reviews, and lead talent development strategies to enhance product delivery capabilities and team effectiveness.
  • Serves as the primary strategic product owner for one or more business-aligned data products or analytics capabilities. Collaborates with executive and departmental stakeholders to understand business goals, identify high-impact opportunities, and shape a product roadmap that enables data-driven decision-making. Ensures alignment with enterprise data strategy and analytics priorities.
  • Establishes strong partnerships with business leaders, translating strategic objectives into product needs and use cases. Serves as a trusted advisor, identifying opportunities where analytics, dashboards, and self-service capabilities can unlock value. Ensures that solutions are designed with measurable KPIs, aligned to business workflows, and adopted successfully by end users.
  • While not directly embedded in sprint teams, maintains oversight of agile product execution through close coordination with Product Specialists and Business Analysts. Ensures that feature delivery aligns with roadmap priorities and meets quality standards. Supports resolution of escalated issues, facilitate alignment across teams, and help remove roadblocks that impact delivery velocity or quality.
  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
