Job OverviewTE's Aerospace Defense & Marine Division is currently seeking a highly motivated
Manufacturing & Process Development Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team in the design, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing processes for new products in a rapidly growing climate. This role engages with global resources to ensure that project deliverables to the TE LEANPD process are on-quality, on-time, and on-cost.
Job Requirements- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of process development engineers, providing technical direction and career growth opportunities.
- Champion a TEOA Lean culture within the daily workflow of MPDE NPD introduction.
- Oversee the design, development, and validation of new manufacturing processes and technologies to improve safety, product quality and production efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to support the launch of production-ready new products.
- Infuse strong DFM/DFA principles to ensure delivery of robust, efficient and cost-effective designs that are manufacturable at full scale.
- Establish and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flow diagrams.
- Provide strategic Manufacturing Engineering oversight and guidance across a global portfolio of product.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies throughout all process development activities.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve milestones and deliverables.
- Stay current with emerging manufacturing technologies and trends, recommending adoption where beneficial.
What your background should look like- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Optical or related field); Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing process development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven expertise in process design, optimization, and validation within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated track record of strong leadership and organizational development.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with process automation, equipment selection, and implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels including across remote dynamics.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, FDA, OSHA) applicable to manufacturing processes.

COMPENSATION• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $130,800 - $163,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
