Job Description: Job Overview The Project Management Manager leads a mixed discipline team of engineers and project managers responsible for driving speed, clarity, and disciplined execution across two complementary engineering value streams: the newly formed Rapid Response Team (RRT) and the Advanced Development Team. With the focus of driving a skilled team to prototypes and pre-production parts into the hands of the customer before our competition. This role ensures that the organization applies robust resource tracking methodologies, provides clear process governance, and delivers on commitments on-time, on-cost, and on-quality-with a strong emphasis on rapid early-stage execution for targeted opportunities. Job Requirements Engineering Leadership 3 Lead, coach, and develop a team of mixed disciplines so they help enable successful customer prototype response; set clear roles, expectations, and accountabilities. Including Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Compliance. Design/Development Engineering will be managed through a separate team. 3 Plan, budget, and secure staffing for the project management resources in scope; build capability through development plans and regular follow-ups. 3 Promote and institutionalize best practices in project/program management; build succession pipeline and leadership bench strength. Rapid Response Engineering Portfolio Management. 3 Hold project managers accountable to deliver projects on-time, on-cost, and on-quality, ensuring compliance with standards and procedures. 3 Monitor overall execution health across the portfolio (schedule, cost, risk, quality) and provide transparent reporting, early warnings, and decision support to leadership. 3 Resolve conflicts and manage escalations effectively; create a fast, reliable escalation path aligned to the needs of rapid response execution. 3 Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of project management methodologies/tools and drive process improvements and streamlining. Rapid Response Team (RRT) - Speed-to-Customer Enablement 3 Enable the Rapid Response Team (RRT) mission: accelerate the TE/customer design process through improved collaboration between commercial and technical teams, reducing time-to-market via faster prototyping and design 3 Establish operating cadence and PM governance that supports rapid iteration and faster decision-making, targeting a ~48-hour VOC response and ~4-week proposal/prototype cycle where applicable. 3 Ensure the RRT remains focused on defined target customers/platform opportunities and is not positioned as a replacement for full NPD/Launch teams. Advanced Development Portfolio Management 3 Partner with engineering leadership to support Advanced Development work focused on technology enablers that strengthen portfolio and competitive edge, balancing longer horizon efforts with disciplined execution. 3 Implement portfolio transparency and prioritization mechanisms so the right work is staffed and sequenced to deliver maximum strategic value. Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management 3 Serve as the project management leadership interface across Engineering, Product/Program stakeholders, Procurement/Supply Chain, and other cross-functional partners to keep execution aligned and unblock delivery. 3 Reinforce disciplined project execution practices aligned with applicable internal project execution procedures and role responsibilities (e.g., leading cross-functional teams, maintaining schedules/governance, driving prototype build coordination, and maintaining visibility to status/risks/schedule). What your background should look like 3 Bachelors degree in an appropriate field (or local equivalent) and significant progressive experience leading projects and/or managing project managers. 3 Demonstrated experience managing teams executing projects (people leadership + delivery accountability). 3 Strong knowledge of project/program management methodologies and tools; ability to implement procedures and drive continuous improvement. 3 Proven ability to resolve conflict, manage escalations, and influence across cross-functional organizations. Preferred 3 Formal project management education; PgMP or PMP certification (or equivalent) is a plus. 3 Industry experience relevant to the organizations products/markets is beneficial (as applicable). Competencies SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers) COMPENSATION  Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $128,200 - $192,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location)  Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
