Job DescriptionThis dynamic role will be supporting the Small Form Factor Solutions (SFFS) and the Advanced Electronic Warfare Solutions (AEWS) product lines within the Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) business area. Responsibilities of this role include leading and managing a team of Procurement professionals at various experience levels in supplier evaluations, negotiations, contract award, supplier management, and execution to meet or exceed business requirements. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships with both internal and external customers. They will be responsible for procurement team compliance and continuous improvement initiatives (root cause & corrective action) to optimize supplier performance and to achieve Zero Defects.
The ideal candidate will develop procurement and material / commodity strategies. Ensure quick resolution of technical and programmatic issues, participate in and contribute to management reviews, technical meetings, and internal or external audits.

Required Skills and Education- Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience
- Experience in a large, complex multifaceted electronics design & manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations and the understanding of the role of procurement in complex industries.
- Experience leading major procurement efforts in a Department of War (DOW) contracting environment.
- Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations and the nature of flow down requirements.
- Experience buying across various commodities (electronics, mechanical, PWB's, cables, optics...)
- Demonstrated ability to resolve contractual and performance issues with suppliers.

- Professional Supply Chain Certification: C.P.M., C.P.S.M., P.M.P.
