Our Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) team provides the critical digital architecture needed to modernize the U.S. ICBM weapon system. As a Senior MS&A Developer Engineer, you will embark on a long-term career dedicated to the Sentinel program, ensuring the next generation of ballistic missiles is safe, accurate, and effective. In this job, you will lead the development of high-fidelity simulation tools that predict flight performance and validate vehicle design.
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior MS&A Developer Engineer, your primary goal is to ensure the LGM-35A Sentinel performs flawlessly through the development of a six-degrees-of-freedom (6-DOF) simulation model. Your day-to-day functions will include:
- Simulation Development: Designing, coding, and testing advanced rocket and missile dynamics simulations to evaluate flight performance.
- Technical Validation: Applying advanced engineering theories to ensure MS&A tools are accurate, complete, and based on sound physical principles.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with developers and engineers to evaluate solid rocket motors, guidance equipment, and propulsion systems.
- Strategic Reporting: Translating complex simulation data into technical briefings and reports for the System Program Office.
