The Manager, Global Business Resilience and Crisis Management, will lead and inspire continuous improvement in business resilience and crisis management for the company. Management efforts will include applicable corporate standards and associated programs to ensure resiliency across the enterprise in all functional areas for both proactive and crisis responses. Leadership efforts will focus on achieving global performance goals, in collaboration with local functional management, manufacturing facilities, and administrative offices globally. In addition, efforts will concentrate on organizational and system readiness to respond to a wide range of known potential business impacts
A Day in the Life- Collaborate with senior leaders to assess the company's business resilience risk and performance using qualitative evaluations as well as lagging and leading indicators.
- Implement and maintain business continuity and crisis management frameworks, systems, and processes based on current context and strategic improvement choices.
- Conduct functional and site assessments to validate effectiveness of crisis management plans.
- Develop the core components of a business resilience strategy to strengthen performance based on identified risk.
- Originate and drive action plans and programs to drive performance improvement and mature the business resilience framework, including maintaining or developing associated standards, within the Operational Excellence framework.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies.
- Provide expert advice to enhance business continuity, crisis management and resilience in multiple functional operations and ensure plans and strategies are appropriately managed.
- Manage existing and improve digital tools supporting decision analysis, business continuity and crisis management.
- Conduct needs assessment and execute competency / training framework to ensure organizational response reliability.
- Design and manage crisis event and business impact exercises, including after action reviews and management of improvement actions.
You Bring This Value- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience in business resilience, crisis / emergency management, risk management, or related field.
- Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or an engineering discipline. Advanced related degrees can be credited to some portion of the experience requirements.
- Ability to lead through influence and an understanding of organizational context and culture.
- Strong motivation to improve systems and operating performance.
