Technical Manager - Marine ManufacturingAre you a hands-on technical professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?
We are looking for a
Technical Manager to join our team and play a key role in supporting production, equipment, process improvement, and technical coordination between our U.S. operation and European sites.
What You'll Do- Provide technical support for the production of non-recreational inflatable watercraft and accessories
- Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment involving PLC controls, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Set and adjust RF welding parameters and establish processes for new products
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on CNC cutting tables, grinding equipment, thermal bonding equipment, and other production machinery
- Create and modify 2D CAD files using AutoCAD LT
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis
- Work with equipment suppliers and recommend process improvements
- Maintain accurate RF welding procedures, parameters, tooling, and production records
- Support quality initiatives and address product quality issues
- Design, modify, and implement machine upgrades
- Train team members and help coordinate daily production activities
- Work closely with production and quality teams to maintain product standards and improve processes

What We're Looking For- Two-year degree in electronics or a related field
- Experience working in a structured, fast-paced production environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with PLC and temperature controls is a plus
- Ability to work with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or Rhino8 Commercial
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite
- Understanding of industrial/financial ERP systems; Infor M3 (Lawson) experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
