Qualifications

• B.Sc. Degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering preferred; other relevant fields considered.
• Experience in autoclaving, roasting, leaching, and mineral processing technologies preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with safety practices and hazard recognition.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for client interaction.
• Ability to develop team knowledge and contribute effectively.
• Some process modeling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety at the Minerals Testing & Research Center.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment for mineral processing tests.
• Develop techniques for process improvements.
• Contribute to sample preparation and testing programs.
• Evaluate complex test results and communicate them to clients.
• Identify improvements in safety and execution in testing methodologies.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team including clients and engineers.
