What you'll do...
Role summary

The (USA) Merchant - Snack Nuts is responsible for developing and executing category strategies that drive business growth and profitability within a moderately complex category. This role oversees pricing, promotion, and channel strategies while managing supplier relationships and financial performance. The Merchant leads cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions, leveraging data insights and market trends to optimize assortment and inventory decisions. Additionally, this position supports operational excellence through effective team management, budget forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives and delivering value to customers across all channels.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and execute category strategies aligned with long-term business objectives, incorporating market trends and customer insights.
  • Manage profit and loss responsibilities, analyzing daily business performance to meet financial targets.
  • Lead supplier negotiations, establishing terms, performance metrics, and communication protocols.
  • Oversee assortment planning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities across store and online channels.
  • Guide team performance, providing coaching, development, and managing priorities to drive engagement and results.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to inform decisions and optimize category performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of business plans and customer-focused initiatives.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
