Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or business preferred, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 4 years in Mechanical or Electrical System Construction
• At least 3 years in Mission Critical Projects, Hospital Construction, or MEP Project Management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven leadership abilities to build and lead teams
• Experience in coordinating and scheduling MEP activities
• Effective problem-solving skills and independent work capability
• Proficient in technology and software relevant to MEP construction
• Preconstruction and Equipment Procurement experience is a plus
• Willingness to travel for work assignments

Responsibilities

• Assist in bidding mechanical and electrical trades
• Manage equipment procurement processes
• Develop critical path schedules for MEP projects
• Coordinate and track construction and startup activities
• Oversee equipment deliveries and ensure timely arrival
• Review contractor submittals for compliance
• Organize meetings to discuss MEP project progress
• Develop Method of Procedures (MOP) for critical live environment work
• Collaborate with subcontractors to resolve MEP conflicts
• Implement quality control processes for MEP systems
• Oversee the startup and pretesting of mechanical and electrical systems
• Support third-party commissioning efforts
• Maintain and manage commissioning documentation
• Foster strong relationships with clients
