The Mentor Protégé Program Manager will serve as a key driver in strengthening Raytheon's Small Business Program by leading strategic mentorship initiatives under the DoD Mentor-Protégé Program. Reporting to the Associate Director of the Small Business Program, this leader will shape long-term supplier capability development, expand subcontracting pathways across RTX, and ensure disciplined execution of government-sponsored mentorship agreements.
This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in program management, federal acquisition regulations, and supplier development. The Program Manager collaborates across supply chain, engineering, program offices, and government stakeholders to deliver compliant, high-impact mentoring engagements and position protégé firms for sustained growth within Raytheon programs.

What You Will Do: - Foster productive, long-term strategic partnerships by strengthening and expanding the capabilities of our protégé firms.
- Collaborate closely with government customers, including Program Offices and DoD Small Business Offices, to ensure compliance with obligations under Mentor-Protégé agreements. Responsibilities include preparing periodic reports and participating in Program Management Reviews (PMRs) with government stakeholders.
- Lead the development of Mentor-Protégé proposals and the preparation of Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
- Expand subcontracting opportunities by encouraging subcontracting with protégés across all RTX businesses.
- Manage contracting, budgets and schedules to ensure that tasks are conducted in a timely manner and objectives are met.
- Partner with Supplier Management Commodities and Strategic Business Units (SBUs) to identify suppliers for mentorship opportunities.
Qualifications You Must Have:- Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' experience
- Experience managing teams and tracking performance
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements (DFARS), other related supplements, with experience researching and utilizing these federal acquisition regulations in relationship to the Mentor Protégé Manager.
- Ability to obtain a DoD clearance
- Flexibility to travel as needed
- Experience with MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
