Full Job Description
Urgent need for Licensed Outpatient Therapist in the following areas:

  • Child/Adolescent development center in Lancaster County

Summary:

  • Positions available for Master's Level Outpatient Therapist in partnership with Lancaster County's child/adolescent development center.

Responsibilities:

  • The therapist will be responsible for providing services related to the delivery of mental health care to assigned at-risk children/adolescents at the designated location and will provide consultation services to the staff to support the overall mental health goals of the facility.
  • Providing traditional outpatient mental health therapy and group in this contained setting
  • Working with at-risk children/adolescents who have a variety of emotional and behavioral needs
  • Conducting Intakes/assessments for new consumers and providing ongoing individual and family therapy sessions at the facility
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive Treatment Plans implemented to ensure consumer care
  • Working collaboratively alongside the community partner while maintaining confidentiality
  • Maintaining both clinical and administrative components of consumers electronic health records
  • Confers with judges, probation officers, police, social service agencies, and community groups to assist with interpreting the facility goals and objectives and developing cooperative working relationships
  • Participates in Multi-Disciplinary Treatment team meetings (MDT's) regarding client behavior, diagnosis, and progress as a member of the treatment planning team.
  • Participating in group supervision, clinical training, and any other required meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Education Requirements:

  • Master's Level - Graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling Education, Marriage & Family Therapy or a Human Services field

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children and adolescents
  • Working knowledge of DSM-V, and have the ability to formulate a diagnosis from information provided by the client
  • Excellent writing and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet administrative deadlines consistently

Master's Level School-based Outpatient Rates:

Part-time:
  • $40.00 per full session
