Mental Health Licensed Therapist Supervisor (LPC, LMFT, LCSW)

Job Summary: The Homeless Outreach Street Team (HOST) is a partnership between Integral Care, the Austin Community Court, ATCEMS Community Health Paramedics, and the Austin Police Department, engaging in outreach services with people experiencing homelessness in downtown Austin. HOST provides services in the community wherever individuals experiencing homelessness may be found, including city streets, parks, churches, libraries, at partner homeless service agencies, and at pop-up events throughout the city.

LPHA Supervisor direct care responsibilities with HOST may include assessing, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric and substance use disorders; mental health crisis intervention; assisting with emergency department, psychiatric, and criminal justice diversions; completing coordinated housing assessments; assisting with applications for housing, benefits, or vital documents; referrals to mental health or substance abuse services; connecting clients with shelter; and providing coping skills training. Programmatic responsibilities may include facilitating team meetings and providing training and clinical support to direct care staff.

Ideal candidates will be adaptable, resourceful, and persistent. Experience working directly with people experiencing homelessness or in mental health crisis is preferred, but not required.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in a human services field.

License:

Required:

  • LPC, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist, or LMFT.
  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Experience:

  • Experience working with homeless populations and/or with mental health crises.
  • Bilingual in Spanish

Hours: Full-Time.

Workdays: Monday - Friday.

Workhours: 6:30AM - 2:30PM.

Salary: $81,912.81 - $104,430.64, based on licensure.
