MEMs Yield Engineer
Description -Job SummaryThe MEMS organization is seeking a highly motivated Yield Engineer to drive yield monitoring, analysis, and improvement activities across manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for identifying yield loss mechanisms, responding to yield excursions, developing yield improvement roadmaps, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and cost performance.
The Yield Engineer serves as the focal point for yield performance, working closely with Integration Engineering, Process Engineering, Product Engineering, Failure Analysis, Manufacturing Operations, and Worldwide Manufacturing partners to rapidly identify issues, drive root-cause investigations, and implement robust corrective actions.
Key ResponsibilitiesYield Monitoring & Reporting- Monitor yield performance across products and process modules
- Identify yield excursions, emerging trends, and areas for improvement through statistical analysis and data mining
- Establish and maintain yield dashboards
- Communicate yield performance, risks, and opportunities to technical and management teams
Yield Analysis & Improvement- Lead or support investigations into yield excursions and out-of-control conditions
- Develop and prioritize yield improvement projects based on business impact and technical risk
- Partner with process and integration engineers to evaluate process changes and improvement opportunities
Manufacturing & Operational Support- Establish yield hold limits and response plans for significant yield deviations.
- Support material disposition decisions for non-conforming product.
- Assist in process & tooling qualifications, manufacturing readiness assessments, and production ramp activities
Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in wafer fabrication - familiarity with photolithography, deposition, etch, metrology, and electrical test
- Experience with statistical analysis tools

The pay range for this role is
$93,400 to
$143,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
