Membership Director

Our early team is searching for a full-time Membership Director to own our member relations from the first point of contact to renewal.

You will work directly with the CEO and COO to design, organize, and own a high-performance business development and account management function.

This role reports directly to Aurora's CEO, and has the potential to rapidly grow into a senior leadership position across Growth and Business Development.

This is an opportunity to play a central role in building and growing the world's highest-impact business development function, building an unparalleled network amongst world-class founders, athletes, creatives, and family offices - developing an ultra-high-performance, thriving member base that relies on Aurora on a daily basis.

The role includes direct business development, partnerships, community events and activations, and member relations from first interaction to renewal.

Our Principles

We're a deeply committed team of tier-1 backed and exited operators united by our five core principles:
  • We seek truth
  • We are high-leverage
  • We are owners
  • We believe impossible is an attitude

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
    • Own Aurora's member business development funnel Actively source and convert new members through your network. Translate high-signal engagement with Aurora into conversions and renewals.
    • Represent Aurora directly with members Engage with prospects and members personally during their first interactions around the product, supporting their conversion journey, and identifying opportunities to improve the funnel while ensuring each conversion experience reflects Aurora's standards.
    • Develop and manage channel partnerships Build and maintain relationships with aligned partners, communities, and networks that introduce high-quality prospective members to Aurora.
    • Create high-signal events and collaborations Design and execute proprietary events and cultural collaborations in high-signal communities and venues to attract and engage prospective members.
    • Build the long-term playbook and team Create the playbook for a world-class member relations function, then hire, train, and lead a high-performance onboarding, conversion, and retention team.

Who You Are:
    • Connected and capable You ideally have a deep familiarity with and existing relationships within elite networks, founder communities, athlete and creative circles, family offices, or similar high-signal ecosystems. You are well connected in at least one of New York, Miami, or Los Angeles.
    • A master relationship builder and persuader You excel at identifying, building, and nurturing relationships in high-performance networks, turning introductions or chance encounters into meaningful, trusting, long-term relationships.
    • A rigorous operator You can manage multiple partnerships, events, and communication streams without losing attention to detail, prioritizing the highest-leverage opportunities.
    • Data-driven and high leverage You can use metrics such as lead volume, engagement patterns, conversion rates, and member behaviors to identify areas of improvement and continuously improve performance.
    • An outright owner You operate autonomously, identify what needs to happen, and drive outcomes without waiting for direction. You bring solutions, iterate quickly, and communicate confidently under scrutiny.

Benefits
  1. Competitive salary + performance-based bonus.
  2. Founding stock options package on the ground floor of a $10b+ opportunity.
  3. Access to exclusive Aurora events and services.
  4. Whoop or Oura Ring on us.
  5. $2,000 annual education budget.
  6. Whatever tech you need to do your best work.
  7. Generous parental leave.
  8. Comprehensive health benefits, with 90% coverage including dental and vision.
