Senior Engineer (SDET) Cloud

YOUR ROLE
The successful candidate will join a highly skilled "Helix Virtualization Platform" development team
delivering mission critical Real-Time Operating System and Hypervisor for avionics and automotive applications.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
In your daily work, you will:
• Develop and deliver high quality design and code.
• Develop and deliver high quality documentation used for DO-178 certification evidence.
• Ability to review DO-178 artifacts and provide guidance to conform to Certification standards
• Investigate and resolve issues reported during product verification and customer integration.
• Participate in all aspects of the software development process using Agile development.
Required Qualifications
BSc / MSc degree (Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
technical degree).
• 5-7 years of relevant technical experience in software development.
• Knowledge of Hypervisor
• Knowledge of ARM/IA/RISC-V platforms
• Knowledge of Safety Certification such as DO-178c and ISO 26262 is an asset
• Strong analytical skills in the C programming language.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent programming skills using Python and Linux shells scripts.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Experience with RTOS software development a plus.
• Exceptional team player who works well in collaborative environments.
• Self-managed, fast learner with the desire and ability to master new technologies.
• Familiarity with iterative and agile/scrum software development processes.
• Certification experience is a plus.
• ARM/Intel/RISC-V SoC Experience is a plus.
• Experience with Virtualization is advantageous.

Compensation
This role is compensation range is between $110,000 to $140,000 CAD plus annual incentive plan bonus. Compensation is determined through interviews and a review of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities of the applicant, and equity with other team members.
