Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical laboratory tests in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology/Immunology fields.
  • Perform testing and analysis as required for Molecular Pathology, Flow Cytometry, and Point of Care jobs.
  • Process and result reference lab tests efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in laboratory procedures and practices.
  • Collaborate with clinical team members to interpret test results and provide insights.

Full Job Description
Short DescriptionPerforms essential duties related to one or more of the clinical subspecialties of Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank and Microbiology/Immunology based on shift. Specific skills required for Molecular Pathology, Flow Cytometry and Point of Care job postings. For Customer Service posting, performs essential duties related to reference lab test processing and resulting. Experience Required

One year clinical laboratory experience preferred (Student experience acceptable)

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and completion of an accredited medical technology program preferred

License/Certification Requirements

Alternatively, possesses qualifications for high complexity testing as evaluated against Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments ’88 (Code of Federal Regulations, Title 42, Part 493.1489)

 

ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) Registry preferred.
