- Adheres to all departmental and hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, staying updated on relevant trends and requirements.
- Administers and documents medication accurately and according to hospital policy, following healthcare practitioner orders for various delivery methods.
- Conducts comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, then plans, implements, and evaluates care holistically, preparing patients for discharge.
- Demonstrates cultural sensitivity by utilizing appropriate communication tools and understanding how cultural factors impact patient care and collaboration within diverse populations.
- Maintains professional competence by engaging in growth opportunities and meeting all mandatory requirements on schedule.
- Accurately documents all patient care and status using the nursing process, including responses to interventions, and ensures physician orders are appropriate and executed timely.

Job Requirements
Required:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
Preferred:
- BSN degree
- 6 months recent, acute care RN experience strongly preferred.
- One year of related work experience in an acute care setting.
- Specialty certification, as appropriate to the assigned work unit.
