Full Job Description
Your Role:

As a Medical Scientific Expert (MSE), you will be a pivotal contributor throughout the product lifecycle, serving as a medical and scientific authority. Your responsibilities will include developing expertise in disease and Therapeutic Areas (TAs) related to our pipeline assets, engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and researchers to address unmet medical and scientific needs and supporting clinical trial activities. For our marketed products in Rare Tumours, you will act as the Primary Point of Co-ordination (PPOC) for identified KOLs, facilitating scientific discussions and supporting data generation (i.e., investigator sponsored study) requests. You will respond to unsolicited medical inquiries from healthcare professionals (HCPs). Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective launch and implementation of medical education programs.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Strong scientific background and proven experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry
  • Bachelor of Science AND a postgraduate scientific degree
  • Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ph.D., MD, Pharm.D.
  • Proficiency across a broad range of disease and therapeutic areas with a thorough understanding of the clinical drug development process.
  • Experience in the field of Rare Disease/Rare Tumours/Oncology
  • Strong relationship management skills with KOLs and internal partners, and proven presentation abilities.

Location: Field Based; must reside in Ontario

Travel: 60%

Pay Range for this position: $125,000 - $162,800 CAD
