Due to growth, Lawley is in search of a Medical Professional Insurance Account Manager/Marketer to support our team in Buffalo, NY! This position will be responsible for managing Specialty Insurance accounts focused on medical malpractice, including renewals, providing summaries, ordering and issuing binders, certificates, policies, proposals and other insurance documents within designated timelines. This position also conducts consultative conversations with their Commercial client base and establishes & maintains carrier relationships. The ideal candidate has at least six years of experience in a similar or related position and extensive relevant insurance knowledge. Fundamental Components of the Job:
3 Market, negotiate, and place new and renewal Medical Professional Liability accounts.
3 Coordinate and manage renewal timelines and critical deadlines.
3 Monitor applications, policy documents, and group schedules as applicable.
3 Maintain expertise in medical malpractice markets, coverage forms, and healthcare exposures.
3 Collaborate with team members on renewal strategy and marketing
3 Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and wholesale brokers.
3 Prepare proposal comparisons, marketing summaries, annual claim summaries and renewal presentations.
3 Identify cross-selling opportunities and upsell accounts as appropriate.
3 Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and agency systems.
3 Deliver exceptional service to clients, producers, and carrier partners.
3 Act as a resource for Specialty coverages in this class of business for the agency.
3 Review claims data and assist in Lawley claims representative on appropriate carrier reporting.

Skills/Traits That We Value for This Role:
3 Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required.
3 Minimum 5 years of commercial insurance experience; Medical Professional Liability experience preferred.
3 Knowledge of medical malpractice insurance products and healthcare risks.
3 Experience managing account marketing and renewal processes.
3 Proficiency in Microsoft Office; EPIC experience preferred.
3 Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
3 Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
3 Attention to detail and organizational skills.
3 Open to continuing education, college degree preferred.
3 Methodical, yet swift decision-making skills.
3 Precise verbal and written communication skills, even under time constraints.
The compensation range for this position takes many factors into consideration including but not limited to: years of experience/training, skill set, and licenses/designations. It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for a position as circumstances and location can vary in every hiring situation. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $67,415.78 to $112,359.63.
