Job Description

INTEGRIS Cancer Institute is seeking a Board-Certified Medical Oncologist, with a GYN focus, to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for gynecologic malignancies. The Medical Oncologist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to diagnosis, treatment planning, systemic therapy management (including chemotherapy and infusions), and survivorship care.

The Medical Oncologist will join an established group of physicians. The INTEGRIS Cancer Institute offers state-of-the-art comprehensive therapies for the diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship of cancer patients.

The Physician provides direct patient care.

Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.

Responsibilities

The Clinic Physician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis
  • Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing
  • Completes and maintains problem list, medication list, disease management forms, preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms
  • Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee
  • Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team
  • Ensures fiscal viability of the practice
  • Complies with policies and procedures
  • The Clinical Physician is responsible for patients.

Moderate exposure to hazardous risks, including potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals. Potential for bodily injury related to lifting and incidents of workplace violence. Must follow universal safety precautions. Exposed to constant interruptions, noise, disagreeable odors, and assorted chemicals.
